• Responsible for technical research and product development for Lamda Modra, a printer supplies manufacturer and re-manufacturer.  Activities included: improving product quality through technical analysis and improvement of individual product components; cost verses benefit assessment; statistical studies enhancing product profitability; recommending and implementing new technologies at Lamda Modra.  Other activities included liasing with suppliers; negotiations with firms; product problem solving; quality management; ISO 9001 activities; educating/training staff and upgrading their skills.  Results of activities provided various cost reductions for the firm of greater than 50%; tripling efficiency and productivity of various production activities through technology enhancement.

• Maintenance of electronic instrumentation oil well logging equipment. Responsible for the development, construction and operation of an electronic maintenance and repair department for the Production Services District of Schlumberger of Canada Limited in Red Deer.

• Maintenance of all radio communications equipment used in railway operations.

• Maintenance of aircraft radio communications and other electronic devices related to aircraft.
